PROCESS: Global Seminars is UNIQUE in that educators and student groups are not forced to buy a package tour - but can lay out a vision for an ideal travel experience and interactively build up all the components of their tour as Global Seminars proposes a tailor-made mix of educational visits, tours and briefings to: major companies, national laboratories, national parks, universities and educational institutions, government facilities (e.g. NASA), art and performance studios and sites of diverse geological, biological and historical interest. You can set the balance between educational activities and fun (e.g. Disneyland/Disneyworld!) that will best meet the demands of those who will approve or fund the tour (e.g. educational administrators and students parents). CONTENT: Global Seminars is UNIQUE in that, unlike off-the-shelf tours, components can be included not on any standard tour. Global Seminars can select and negotiate with major corporations or interesting companies for you and ask them to provide a one-time briefing that fits your interests and level of understanding and that fits their public affairs and public service goals. Global Seminars can select and negotiate with educational and research institutions for you and negotiate a visit and briefing that meets your goals and theirs in the name of educational collaboration. Many of these briefers and institutions would never wish to be bothered by regular package tours. COST: Global Seminars is UNIQUE in that the costs can be carefully adjusted to fit your budget. If the chain hotels commonly used by package tours are beyond your means, Global Seminars will suggest and negotiate for you with very low cost local alternatives (YMCAs, Youth Hostels, etc.). If restaurant meals are beyond your means, Global Seminars will suggest and coordinate meals that all of us create together. If a chartered coach every day is beyond your means, Global Seminars will take you out into the streets on walking tours and public transit.
